Santiago Latorre in Residence at the Free Music School

Since September, Santiago Latorre has been with us—recording new music, caring for the plants, and tending to the space with me. Having him around has been a real pleasure.

His collaboration with singer Nieves Arilla, A Pie De Cama, is a collection of intimate songs meant to be sung softly into the ear of one or two people lying in bed. It’s one of the most beautiful and sensual experiences I’ve had the privilege of witnessing.

A shared dream we’d love to bring to life is offering A Pie De Cama in hospitals and recovery centers, creating moments of healing through music. If you or someone you know can help make this happen, please reach out to Santiago at santiagolatorre@gmail.com.
