Sick of social media being owned by fascists and its hold on your digital identity?
Hi! My name is Zofia (she/they), the demon of Barcelona. Iām a local LGBTQ+ anarchist and squatter activist, and a bit of a cyberpunk.
Nowadays our digital identities are inseparably linked to our lives in and outside the web, and sadly, the internet has become monopolized by the same four or five companies owned by fascists that actively manipulate information and bankroll reactionary think tanks. Of course if given the choice most people would love to leave these evil ecosystems, and while some alternatives have sprung up like bluesky or mastodon, they have their own set of problems too.
I present to you another alternative, a better, infinitely more creative, free ecosystem (both from the yoke of Big Tech and your wallet). Bring your laptop on the 1st of March at 5PM to the Free Music School, (c/ Lleida 39, Poble Sec), for a practical workshop on how to make your own webpage on Neocities and learn to connect in the internet in new ways away from the Musks and Zuckerbergs of the world.
