Rasheed Jalloul: Magic In the MAGNETICS of Meaning (#4)

Workshop Description:

Can you imagine a 4D Papyrus? What kind of hieroglyph would it read? What be its words, its ink, its sounds?

Is it a Place of Pilgrimage, or a Punctuation of Performance?
Is it rather a stone, or a Rosetta Dice unrolled?

This is an invitation to resituate the flow of sense in our clotted silo of inherited meanings.

  • Doors Open at 12:00pm.

  • Workshop begins at 1:00pm.

  • El taller será en inglés con español.

Rasheed Jalloul is a Musician, Architect and Poet, with this MAP he browses a navigation of mind over geography. A Lebanese native in Barcelona, his transdisciplinary art practice unifies two faces in one coin: Engineering Intelligibility and Redefining Domesticity in an innocent act of Reindigenization. This Parthenogenetic Poeticism is an impulse response to a cultural displacement that wields the threat of Educational Extinction. In a leap from History to Origin, from the Historical to the Original, what is language outscales scripture and speech, and what is native outechoes continent and conquest: From a Delimiting Geography to a ReVertebraeiting Gravity, from Divisive Literacy to Symbiotic Fluency.
